These terms describe the current original chess platform foundation and the boundaries users should expect while the product remains in staged development.
Service Scope
The platform currently provides account, profile, play, puzzle, analysis, archive, report, moderation, and entitlement foundations. Some visible controls document future capabilities and are intentionally disabled until the backend owns the full workflow.
- Server-authoritative chess state controls official FEN, PGN, moves, clocks, results, ratings, puzzle attempts, reports, fair-play signals, and sanctions.
- Users must not attempt to bypass server validation, submit abusive reports, exploit bugs, or interfere with another player's game.
- Support tickets, privacy requests, legal requests, and user-contact intake are not active workflows yet.
- Gameplay, account, moderation, and entitlement behavior may change before public launch.
Original Content Boundary
This product is built as an original chess platform. It must not use copied or scraped third-party chess platform assets, UI, lessons, puzzles, datasets, sounds, branding, private APIs, or internal behavior.
- Standard chess rules may be implemented with compatible open-source libraries.
- Puzzle and learning content must be original, internally curated, or legally licensed with source metadata.
- Users should not upload or submit content they do not have the right to use.
Account And Conduct
Users are responsible for their account activity and for playing fairly. The platform may restrict play entry points when active play or account suspension sanctions exist.
- Current authentication uses bearer sessions; production cookie, refresh-token, OAuth, provider-backed email delivery, and notification/email delivery hardening remain deferred.
- Reports and moderation records are private to the reporting user and authorized moderators where applicable.
- Severe enforcement paths such as appeals, sanction revocation, and automated verdicts are not active yet.
Payments And Subscriptions
Premium checkout, provider subscriptions, refunds, cancellation handling, and payment webhooks are not implemented. Current entitlement screens and quota gates are foundation behavior only.
- No production payment details should be entered into this application yet.
- Refund and cancellation terms must be completed before paid launch.
- Entitlement metadata may be used to test limits, but it is not a live billing system.
